Day 1 : Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Lopburi - Phitsanuloke

In early morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Pattaya or Bangkok. First visit is the Summer Palace in Bang Pa-In of King Rama V. After a scenic walk through the green park, continue on to the ancient capital of Ayuthaya to visit the ancient ruins. This town, an ancient capital of Thailand from the 14th to the 18th centuries, was sacked by the Burmese, and then taken over again by the Thais! This was the last location of the capital before the government based itself in Bangkok. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, Continue on to Phitsanuloke and stop at Vi Han Mongkol Bor Pit and the tempel Wat ri San Phet. Dinner and overnight in Phitsanuloke.

Day 2 : Phitsanuloke - Sukhothai - Chiang Rai

After breakfast, proceed to the ancient city of Sukhothai. Enjoy walking through the Historical Park many of which have been restored now by the Thai Fine Arts Department. This ancient capital preceded the later Ayuthaya period, and one can tell because the architecture is markedly different. Then drive to Sri Satchanalai, the northern outpost town of the Sukhothai kingdom. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Journey onward to the Wat Pra Tad and the Big Lake in Payao then to the northern city of Chiang Rai. On the way, enjoy the spectacular montane scenery.

Day 3 : Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai

After breakfast, proceed to Mae Chan and visit Akha and Yao Hilltribe villages. Drive to Mae Sai, the northern-most town in Thailand, located on the Burmese border. Lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the famous Golden Triangle, where the Ruak and Mekong Rivers meet. Boatride to Laos. Visit the Opium House. From the top of the hill you can see the countries of Laos and Myanmar. Stop along the way at hot springs.Drive back to Chiang Rai. Evening at leisure.

Day 4 : Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai

After breakfast at hotel, check out and head for Chiang Mai, often called the "Rose of the North".  Lunch at local restaurant. Drive to Mae Rim to visit an Elephant Camp and witness elephants at work. Then continue on to an Orchid and Butterfly farm. Also visit Rukachati National Park to see a nice waterfall. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the handicraft village of San Khampaeng. Here you will witness how Thai Silk and other traditional items are produced.Arrive In the evening, enjoy a traditional northern Kantoke Dinner and experience a northern dancing performance.

Day 5 : Chiang Mai - Kampeng Phet

After Breakfast at hotel in Chiang Mai drive on a very scenic mountain road to visit Wat Doi Suthep on top of Doi Suthep Mountain. Then drive to the small City Lampoon and stop at the Tempel Wat Ha Ri Poon Chai. At the Gad Thung Kwien Jungle Market you have time to buy fruits and drinks for the road. Lunch in a local Restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Hilltribe Village Mu Ser and Overnight in Kampheng Phet.

Day 6 : Kampeng Phet - Pattaya

After The Breakfast in the morning we drive to the famous  Banana Market journey through scenic countryside to Lopburi to see the sacred Three Spires Pagoda and Prang Sam Yod. Look out for monkeys all around this ancient city! After Lunch drive to Saraburi where you can see the "Footprint of Buddha" and drive back to Pattaya. Arrive appr. 5pm.
